The Fish and Field story began with just a Fish in 2007, when biokineticist Nicole Fish opened her own practice at San Sereno Retirement Village in Johannesburg. Over the next two years, she established a solid client base and growing reputation. When the time came to expand her family with the arrival of her second child, she also chose to expand her practice – ensuring her clients’ care remained a priority. In 2009, she brought on Jenna-Lee Field to look after her patients during maternity leave.

Over the next five years, the two developed a strong working relationship and steadily built the practice together. Both biokineticists share a passion for aqua therapy, believing it to be a highly effective treatment medium for a wide range of conditions.

In 2013, they officially partnered and seized the opportunity to expand, opening a second location at the Off Nicol Health and Wellness Rehab Centre. Since then, the Fish and Field Biokinetics team has continued to grow, along with their reach, with their third practice opening in Cape Town in 2022, at Woodside Village in Rondebosch.
